Wood is one of the key materials that are being represented on Material Trader’s Circular Industry Network. This network is known for its marketplace, directory and community. All individual segments aim at bringing together parties involved.
The Marketplace is for trading secondary (raw) materials, residuals, recyclables, and used machines. Including or wood waste.
The Business Directory is where verified companies can find your business and contact you. Including companies active in the wood industry.
The Community is where you can find relevant circular industry information and business cases.
The coming decades we are facing the challenges with regard to the transition of a linear economy towards a circular community. Our aim is to contribute to this transition and to be part of the solution.
Cascading wood contributes to a circular economy. Trees, the source of all wood, are a perfect example of the circularity in nature that the circular economy tries to model: a tree grows out of the nutrients found in the soil, and it returns these nutrients back into the soil once it reaches the end of its life, fueling the growth of the next generation of trees.
