Please meet Infinited Fiber Company. The textile industry is the second-most polluting industry in the world, on both the pre- and post-consumer ends of the spectrum. Imagine: it takes 6,813 litres of water just to grow enough cotton to produce a single pair of jeans. And after wearing the clothes for a few times, almost as an insult to all the resources that have been dedicated to them, the equivalent of one garbage truck of textiles is landfilled or incinerated every second.
This is where the Infinited Fiber Company comes in: their breakthrough technology has created a brand new fiber out of previously-unusable textile waste. It looks and feels like cotton but is far more economical and sustainable, as it repurposes waste materials and uses considerably fewer resources than traditional cotton.
This high performance fiber boasts a low environmental impact on multiple fronts:
- Up to 20,000 litres less water per kg than cotton
- Eliminates use of hazardous chemical carbon disulphide CS2

In fact, this fiber doesn’t even need to be made out of discarded textiles, it can also be produced out of cardboard and agricultural waste.
